Upcoming Projects in 2015

Some exciting things on the horizon for Balm and Blade. We’ve been getting great feedback about END, so definitely check that out while you’re waiting for these upcoming releases.

Right now I’m working on two projects. Both of them are in the early stages, so the final product may vary, but here is where they’re at for now:

  • The final book in the DarkLight trilogy, with the working title of The Absence of God is set to be released near the end of the year. The central question of the book is one that has haunted believers and nonbelievers for ages: if God is good and loving and powerful, how do we explain suffering in this world? And more specifically, how do we make sense of the suffering in our own lives? It is a big question and I am looking forward to diving deeper and deeper into its murky waters.
  • In the spring, I will be releasing a very short digital book / audio-visual experience, currently entitled Bridge from Winter. What does that mean? I’m not entirely sure yet, but there will be poetry and photographs and videos and music, all put together to give you an integrated, thematic immersion into my melancholy mind. There will probably be some things along the vein of the video below, and the images that will be posted on our Facebook page soon.

What else is going on? An annotated version of Steps to Christ is in the works. And last but not least, we may possibly perhaps be resurrecting one or two of our sleeping projects. Which ones? When? Who knows, but stay tuned!
